AUDIOVISUAL MATERIAL

MENTALIZE

The "MENTALIZAR" project includes an animated video along with a manual and psychoeducational booklets, developed as complementary material for watching the video and using it in workshops with children.

The animation shows us a day of Javiera's online classes, from her own perspective, as well as that of her father, mother, and teacher. It illustrates how an everyday situation can generate stress for both children and adults, as well as the role that "mindfulness" plays as a tool to cope with these types of situations, and even prevent them.

Talking about stress and mentalization is no coincidence, as in recent years numerous studies have begun to show that strengthening mentalization from childhood can act as a protective factor against many psychological and interpersonal difficulties in childhood, adolescence, and adulthood.

CHEER UP

With the aim of contributing to mental and physical well-being, the Milenio Institute (MIDAP) created an animated video in collaboration with the famous cartoonist Guillo.

This audiovisual product aims to widely disseminate the importance of establishing relationships, purpose, and habits from the earliest years of life that allow us to develop healthily, both mentally and physically. Studies conducted by our center dedicated to researching depression and personality empirically demonstrate the fundamental role of interpersonal relationships as a protective factor for our mental and physical health, as well as a generator of our ability to face life and relate to others.
