Systematic research on depression and personality

The purpose of MIDAP is to conduct systematic research on depression and its complex relationship with personality, in each of its aspects: genetic, psychophysiological, cognitive, emotional, developmental, and behavioral, as well as in the multiple dimensions of human functioning that have shown evidence of being linked to this disorder.

Our Institute's scientific activity is organized into four lines of research, each of which consists of a series of specific studies conducted by interdisciplinary teams of professionals in psychology, psychiatry, genetics, psychophysiology, neuroscience, anthropology, and sociology.
